I was placed on this earth to serve, it is my passion to help others. My motto is “If you don’t ask you will never know” and if I don’t know I will always find out for you. I love being able to serve my colleagues, parents and most importantly these amazing learners.

 I am the Academic Head of Edusmart  College. I have known since I was a little girl that I wanted to become a teacher one day. I am happy to say that I still arrive at school with a smile and joy in my heart. I love what I do and would like to be involved with children and education for as long as I am capable. I am a sports fanatic and rarely miss a rugby game of my favourite Stormers or Springboks. Also tennis, cricket, netball, swimming, F1-racing, but these days only as a spectator! I find my second career at Edusmart very rewarding. I enjoy the team spirit of my inspiring colleagues and the leadership clear and inclusive.

After nearly ten years at Edusmart, I’m basically part of the furniture! As the HOD for Online Curriculums, I use my degree in psychology and my own experiences as a student who struggled in the traditional system to make sure our learners feel seen, supported, and motivated. I’m incredibly passionate about being there for both our students and my fellow staff members. To keep things balanced, I love gaming, cheering on my football team, and bringing plenty of humor and laughter to the workday.

I’ve been proud to grow with Edusmart from day one and today I am HOD of our CAPS Grade 6–8 curriculum with a focus on making learning dynamic and engaging. Teaching Natural Sciences allows me to channel my own adventurous spirit into the classroom, where I thrive on creating fun, memorable lessons that inspire students to reach their full potential. I ’m a massive outdoor enthusiast who loves a challenge – the more active and adventurous, the better. For me, life and education are all about the experiences we chase and the connections we make along the way.

As a Maths teacher I’ve always had the passion to bring numbers and problem solving as a positive desire in children’s lives, where we as educators have the opportunity to teach these skills to the learners and also to help them grow and become the best versions of themselves. I believe in a well balanced lifestyle therefore a cup of coffee makes me smile, beach walks and jogs gives me joy and playing drums in church on Sundays satisfies the soul. “Enter to learn and leave to serve” is a mantra close to my heart.

My name is Michael, and I am the homeroom teacher for the MobyMax Seniors. I am passionate about education and dedicated to inspiring and guiding future generations through my knowledge, skills, and experience.With a strong background in sports, I value discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and respect, and I aim to instill these important qualities in our learners both inside and outside the classroom.Outside of teaching, I enjoy staying active through exercise, spending quality time with my loved ones, and exploring new places through travel.

 I am an assistant who loves helping wherever support is needed, with a particular passion for English and a special interest in this subject area. I have a deep appreciation for literature, music, and art, and I believe these creative forms play an essential role in both personal and intellectual growth.
